What is Creator's Praise like?
We are genuine Christians who desire to know and be known by God. We are not all at the same place on our faith journey, but we are excited to gather together and cheer each other on to to live for our Creator's Praise!
When you arrive you will be greeted warmly and we hope you will feel at home as soon as you walk in the door.
Our Praise Space isn't beautiful like you would find at other places of worship, it's a work in progress, just like we are!
What about my kids?
We love our families and want our children to know they are loved and are part of God's forever family.
On most Sundays, children three years and up have the option of attending children's church during the sermon. The kids will enjoy learning activities at their own level.
We also have a designated space for toddlers to play and move safely. Don't worry about crying, fidgety, or talkative children. Ours are too!! Bring them to church and be surrounded by other parents and grandparents who understand, support, and love children
Where do I park?
There is street parking, plus a parking lot right next to the building. You may also choose to park across the street in the village hall parking lot. There is additional parking across the street from the Main Street Smokehouse restaurant.
What do I wear?
Come in what's comfortable for you! Some people dress up while others wear jeans and a t-shirt. Still others come ready for...
What is the worship service like?

The service uses contemporary music and generally starts at 10:05 and lasts for approximately 70 minutes.

Attendance is typically around 30-40 people with about half under 40

Offering baskets are affixed to the rear posts for free will tithes and offerings. Many use online giving or bank auto pay.

The service begins with a song and a preparation for worship which involves confession of sin and announcement of forgiveness.

This follows with a reading from one of the Gospels, congregational announcements and general calls to action.

We dismiss the children for children's church during a greeting of peace when people refill their coffee cups and use the restroom.

Following the greeting we settle in for prayer time and a Bible based message (usually about 12 to 20 minutes).

The children return in time for communion, final blessing and sending song.
What about Communion?
Many Christian gatherings will celebrate this as a rite, duty, or devotional act. We have communion every week as a visible sign of our oneness with God and each other. It is the high point of our worship. We come to be with God and He makes Himself present with us. Each week we are reminded that this body and blood were given "for you". Each week He says in this meal, "I am still For You!" And better yet, "I am still With You!!"
In communion we use real wine because that is what Jesus used and what was available in the early church. We also use one homemade unleavened flatbread. "Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread." 1Co 10:17 ESV
Each person is encouraged to examine themselves in preparation for receiving communion so that we will never take it for granted, but may be well prepared. We do not want to ignore Jesus in this meal or give Him only a token response (1 Corinthians 11:28). Rather we Praise and Thank Him for giving Himself to us, while pledging ourselves again to Him.
Baptized believers in Jesus are invited to participate in this meal. Children receive instruction in this meal before their first reception. If you have not been baptized yet, you may talk to Pastor Dave. You may also come forward for a blessing by simply crossing your arms in front of you.
