Members were asked to share the vision they have for the development of Creator's Praise Ministries. One of the interesting aspects of this vision exercise is the diversity of responses. Each member vision seems to reflect a different and valuable perspective of why we exist and what value may be placed on this ministry. One vision focuses on the physical presence of the church in the world. Another vision points to the level of service provided to the community. Still another vision expresses the appreciation for the worship experience of the local church. While yet another vision looks to become a resource for the church at large.
What do you do with such a variety of responses, you ask? Good question.
Since each part of the body exists for a unique purpose, it is not unusual that as members of the same body we each have a unique vision. imagine what it would be like if the eyes were not limited to the front of the head. What if each part of the body had their own set of eyes. What would the vision be like from the perspective of the feet, the hands, the shoulder, etc.? While the vision may vary per body part, we should also be thankful that the body only has two eyes and there is a necessity of coordination. Rather, than chaotically stretching ourselves every which way, we bring our vision together in prayer to Jesus who is the head of the church. Ultimately we want to pursue the direction He determines.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done... Father, as you have created interest and passion among Your people, guide us now to passionately pursue Your planned purpose for Creator's Praise Ministries, so that we may indeed Praise You as our creator. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. AMEN!
